Serve warm, broken into pieces, with custard.

Method
- Heat the oven to 180°C / 160°C fan. Grease a 20 x 30cm tin.
- Mix the flour, sugar and cocoa, then stir in the butter to make a crumbly mix.
- Press firmly into the tin and sprinkle with the extra sugar.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes. Cut into squares while warm and leave to cool in the tin.
Cook's noteFor pink custard, stir a few drops of pink food colouring and some strawberry flavouring into ready-made custard.
