Method
- Heat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan. Line a 30 x 40cm tray.
- Melt the butter with the cocoa and water. Pour over the flour, sugar and bicarbonate and mix. Beat in the eggs and buttermilk.
- Pour into the tray and bake for 20 minutes.
- Heat the icing butter, cocoa and milk, then beat in the icing sugar and pecans.
- Pour over the warm cake and spread. Cool before slicing.
