Chop suey means 'mixed pieces'. It's a lighter takeaway choice, packed with crunchy vegetables.

Keep the beansprouts crunchy by adding them at the end.

Method

  1. Toss the chicken with the soy and cornflour.
  2. Stir-fry the chicken in the oil for 5 minutes. Remove.
  3. Stir-fry the onion, carrot, mushrooms and bamboo shoots for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the beansprouts, chicken, oyster sauce and stock and toss for 2 minutes.
